AI Consultant

Duration: 4 months (extension likely)
Rate: £800-900 per day (inside IR35)
Location: 1 day/week onsite in central London

A leading global retailer is seeking an experienced AI Consultant to provide guidance on AI implementations that optimise business processes with a focus on helpdesk functionality, media planning, creative use, and audience building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish AI objectives that align with business goals and identify integration opportunities.
• Research and recommend technologies for the rapid prototyping and development of AI/ML features, such as semantic search and LLMs.
• Partner with data engineers to assess existing databases and pipelines for their suitability for AI/ML applications.
• Evaluate AI/ML outputs to demonstrate their added value and quality.
• Ensure all AI/ML solutions comply with legal and privacy standards.

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in AI/ML, preferably within ad tech or related sectors.
• Proven track record of managing AI projects from inception to completion.
• Familiarity with GenAI technologies, including LLMs and RAG.
• Experience building proofs of concept (POCs) around AI and LLM technologies.
• Knowledge of image and media generation technologies.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experienced with ML frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and its AI services.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
