Job Title: Copywriter / Content Manager

Rate: £400 a day Via Umbrella

Length: 3 months initially – potential to extend

Industry: Financial Services

Location: Central London, 2 days a week in the office

We are working in exclusively in partnership with a major financial services brand to hire a Content Manager / Copywriter to own the content plan and design and develop copy and content for a specific project which has substantial investment and buy-in from the top.

The aim will be to use creativity and relationships with other areas of the business to deliver engaging and effective content and copy which is aligned to brand values. This includes blogs, digital copy and content like infographics and video.

This role would be perfect for a London based content manager / copywriter with financial services experience and a track record of delivering great content and copy.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Copywriting: Create compelling and high-quality copy for digital platforms including websites, social media, and email marketing.
  • Digital Content: In tandem with other teams, oversee the production of digital content, including videos, infographics, and interactive media
  • Collaboration: Work closely the creative and digital teams to ensure content is optimised and relevant.
  • Insight and Analysis: Monitor and analyse content performance as well as use customer insight to adjust strategies as needed to improve engagement and reach.
  • Brand Voice: Ensure a consistent tone across the platform.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in a content management or copywriting role within a large, matrix organisation (ideally 5 years+)
  • Ideally, experience in the financial services or insurance space
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience with digital content (videos, interactive media)
  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • Ability to think strategically and build relationships across different business functions
  • Understanding of SEO best practice
