Desktop Support Engineer, 1st/2nd Line, Hybrid, Win 10, JIRA, AD

Desktop Support Engineer required for a leading financial services organisation based in central London.

Hybrid working – 2-3 days per week on site.
Engagement is via umbrella company only.

The successful candidate will provide 2nd line technical support to end users across the estate – a mixture of laptops of VDI – focusing on Microsoft desktop and application operating environment.

General responsibilities: –

  • Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, focusing on end-user technologies and supporting platforms.
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Be the first point of call for IT support queries from internal staff, either via the service desk platform, phone, email, Teams, or face-to-face.
  • Administer the service desk and act upon requests for change and system access.

Skills and experience required: –

  • Windows 10
  • SCCM
  • AD user admin
  • [Desirable] JIRA
  • Experience working in a change control environment
