DevOps Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation as a DevOpS Engineer. The successful candidate will join a small, agile team responsible for delivering and maintaining global services that support award-winning products. This role focuses on automating platforms, deploying secure and reliable services, and collaborating with developers to adopt modern technologies and champion DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain secure Azure PaaS/IaaS environments.
- Build and maintain deployment pipelines as code using Azure DevOps.
- Ensure service availability and respond to system alerts/outages.
- Develop tools to support platform and applications.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines for new and existing services.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and deliver high-quality automated services.
- Mentor team members and other teams to support services.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Azure and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/ArgoCD).
- Strong background with Linux/Windows VMs and scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Azure CLI).
- Familiarity with observability tools (OTEL, Grafana, Prometheus) and cloud networks (DNS, firewall).
- Knowledge of cloud platform security and web servers (IIS/Nginx).
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- SaaS experience is a plus.
