Salary – Up to £28,000 with excellent benefits

Hybrid – 3 days on site

Bristol – Must have a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle

We have an exciting opportunity to join a non-profit organisation as an IT Support Technician. We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience dealing with wide range of IT issues and have a passion for helping people.

Responsibilities:

As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Both Microsoft server and desktop operating systems.
• Utilising your experience with Active Directory to manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, to provide support and troubleshoot issues.
• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies, particularly Hyper-V, to manage and maintain virtual environments.
• Awareness of data and server back-up technologies and methodologies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Being a confident and credible communicator, capable of interacting effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
• Managing end-point security, including anti-virus and patch management, to safeguard our IT infrastructure.
• Working independently and demonstrating an aptitude for identifying and solving technical problems efficiently.

Requirements:

• The successful candidate will need a Full UK drivers licence and their own vehicle capable of transporting IT equipment to and from site – This is essential for the role
• At least three years’ experience as an IT help desk technician
• ITIL processes including incident, problem, change and asset management
• Evidence of problem solving and troubleshooting to achieve a successful outcome
