Lead Infrastructure Engineer – SC Cleared
Location: Salisbury OR Portsmouth | 5 Days On-Site
Rate: In Line with Current Market Rates | Inside IR35
Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required
Contract: 6 Months Initially
Currently working with a major technical partner of the MOD for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to lead the day-to-day technical operations of a Windows based team into an MOD environment.
Essential Technologies:
- Windows Server
- VMware
- Active Directory
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the team including mentoring, creating a structure of SME’s with client centric skills and future proofing our operations by continually enhancing the teams skills portfolio in line with the unified digital strategy
- Assist with solution design, estimating, high level and detailed design work and where applicable, implementation.
- Remain aware of the relevant SLA structure and respond, fix or escalate according to the limits set out within that structure.
- Engaging in pre-sales activities to scope out potential solutions.
- Engage with Architects and Solutions Designers to validate potential options and make recommendations.
- Ensure that all tasks completed by the team are fully documented in accordance with the standards in place.
