Learning and Development Specialist

£75,000 – £90,000 + Bonus / Car Allowance / Benefits

London (Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office)

Our client, a large international finance firm, are looking to hire 2 Learning and Development professionals to join their team to continuously improve the end-to-end learning and development across the employee base (approximately 10,000) from senior managers to early careers and emerging talent.

This role would be perfect for someone who has worked in a large complex professional services environment and wants to join a collaborative culture where they will be given the backing to design and deliver high quality training to a varied employee base.

There is a very flat structure in the business which allows for you to get involved with the strategic piece as well as the hands-on delivery of training sessions across multiple channels.

This is an international role but the main focus (and bulk of the employee base and work) is in the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering the curriculum for a growing range of programmes spanning early careers, emerging talent, aspiring leaders and senior managers.
  • Collaborating with the Learning Lead (effectively a Head of), HR Business Partners, Senior Leadership and others on the overall programmes strategy.
  • Building a deep understanding of the business to accurately understand learning needs, including building strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrating outstanding design, delivery and facilitation skills, bringing energy and passion to the role.
  • Engage audiences of a varied size and seniority level.
  • Own the feedback process with participants, including the administration of surveys to optimise the learning and development process.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a Learning role in a large, complex environment (ideally financial services but very open to other industries)
  • Experience designing and delivering programmes related to service, sales, leadership is desirable
  • Excellent training delivery skills across a variety of channels – in-person, virtual, classroom
  • Ability to communicate credibility and professionally in a commercially driven environment.
  • Ability to build relationships with a varied stakeholder base in a matrixed regulated environment
