Network Engineer/Consultant, Cisco, Palo Alto, ACI, Fully Remote

Network specialist required for a well-known business – this role is FULLY REMOTE.

The successful candidate will have experience delivering a range of support and project functions to clients. This will include systems monitoring; network support and troubleshooting; diagnostics.

Extensive liaison with internal and external stakeholders is required to enable delivery of operational systems and ensure successful 2nd / 3rd line technical support is provided

You will also be proficient in the day-to-day management of Palo Alto firewalls including next generation features.

Skills and experience required: –

• Knowledge of application of network technologies in an IT services delivery market
• Palo Alto NGFW (Panorama, Wildfire, AV, App-ID, Coretex Data Lake)
• Cisco ACI (APIC, NDO, VMWare integration)
• Citrix Netscaler
• Solarwinds
• Proven experience supporting network hardware and software in a complex multi-protocol environment.
• Advanced knowledge of DNS/DHCP/BGP/BDO, proxies, security, VPN etc
• Ability to demonstrate diagnosis of network issues and suggest proposals for resolution.
