Security Architect

Job Title: Security Architect (FortiSIEM)
Contract Length: 3 months
Rate: £500-£530 (inside IR35)
Location: London (Hybrid)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect with hands-on expertise in FortiSIEM to join our team on a 3-month contract. This hybrid role, based in London, will focus on optimising and enhancing security operations. If you’re experienced in designing SOCs with FortiSIEM and have a deep understanding of security technologies, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage FortiSIEM within the security operations environment.
• Design and establish best practices for SOC architecture using Fortinet products.
• Onboard new log sources and develop custom connectors for integration with FortiSIEM.
• Review and analyse existing network architectures, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Apply technical knowledge to enhance Operation Technology (OT) security strategies.
• Conduct comparisons and evaluations of different security tools, providing expert insights.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience with FortiSIEM.
• Expertise in SOC design using FortiSIEM and other Fortinet products.
• Experience with onboarding log sources and developing custom connectors.
• Solid understanding of OT Security.
• Ability to assess and recommend improvements to network architecture.
• Strong knowledge of network and cloud security fundamentals and security tools.

London (Hybrid working arrangement).
