Position: Security Engineer – Microsoft Azure and Defender
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £550 (Inside of IR35)
Job Description:
Working with a leading financial services client who are seeking a highly skilled Security Expert with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Defender to join our team on a contract basis. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security solutions within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and managing security solutions within Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
- Azure Security Centre and Azure Defender for threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance monitoring.
- Configure and manage Azure security policies, alerts, and automated responses to security incidents.
- Security operations processes, including incident detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Develop and implement incident response and coordinate with cross-functional teams during security incidents.
