Senior Infrastructure Engineer – DV Cleared

Location: Salisbury OR Portsmouth | 5 Days On-Site

Rate: In Line with Current Market Rates | Inside IR35

Clearance: Active DV Clearance Required

Contract: 6 Months Initially

Currently working with a major technical partner of the MOD for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to provide technical design, implementation and support of infrastructure technologies as part of a Windows based team into an MOD environment.

Essential Technologies:

• Windows Server
• VMware
• Active Directory

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate hardware and software (within server, network, storage or desktop environments)
• Integration and test of new products (both hardware and software) for incorporation into program infrastructure
• Provide second line support to ensure right support
• Follow standard project processes and procedures in order to produce documentation to be used in proposals
• Administration and enhancement of the environment and its supportability, for example: administration of user accounts, control of network access integrity, data management and access authorizations
• To be aware of the relevant SLA structure and to respond, fix or escalate according to the limits set out within that structure.
• Accurately assess time to complete tasks to ensure operational and user procedures.
