Our client, a leading global financial services firm are looking for an experienced vendor manager to join their team on an interim basis. In this role, you would lead across BAU and project based IT vendor management, dealing with Tier 1 suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Running the monthly performance and quarterly business reviews with critical and tier 1 suppliers
• Day to day management of suppliers performance and any other issues, including management of open actions and risks from supplier meetings
• Delivering SRM added value (deficiencies and cost avoidance)
• Maintenance of existing SRM supplier tracker
• Liaison with necessary P&R functions (Information Security and Business Continuity) for any support required on their specific suppliers
• General monthly SRM reporting
• Supporting/coordinating any new Ops Res requirements or work from the OE (exit plans, supplier failure plans)
• Supporting the team with the management of VIS checks and processes in Ariba
• General supplier due diligence (financial health reporting)
• Completing third party risk management classifications

Experience:

• Strong background across vendor management or procurement
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with experience in leading high value, complex negotiations
• Strong working knowledge of contracts
• Strong stakeholder management abilities
• Experience in a regulated environment and strong understanding of FCA regulations. (desirable)
• Experience in IT procurement/vendor management (desirable)
