We have an exciting opportunity to join an award winning organisation as a Test Lead. The ideal Test Lead will have experience within the financial sector, having worked with Payment Transactions, Direct Debits and Standing Orders. The candidate must be based in the UK within a commutable distance of Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse requirements and designs to ensure testability and coverage.
• Develop and execute comprehensive Test Plans, Scenarios, and Schedules.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders on test criteria and scenarios.
• Support UAT execution and integration testing phases.
• Provide expertise in testing financial systems, including direct debits, payment transactions, and standing orders.
• Monitor and report on test progress and quality metrics.
• Actively participate in project planning, stand-up calls, and review sessions.
• Drive adoption of continuous testing and DevOps practices.

Must Have:

• Proven leadership experience in QA or Test Management roles.
• Strong understanding of large IT project delivery and integration testing.
• Expertise in testing financial workflows such as direct debits, standing orders, and payment transactions.
• Proficiency in JIRA, XRAY, or similar test management tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps tools.
• Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills in high-pressure environments.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage virtual teams across time zones.
