We’ve partnered with a leading Insurance firm as they look to bring in a contract Enterprise Architect with a strong technical background and exceptional leadership capabilities to join a leading enterprise organisation. This role focuses on delivering cutting-edge solutions around event bus implementation and integration within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage deep technology knowledge to drive strategic decision-making and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Lead the deployment of enterprise event buses, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Oversee the on boarding of both consumers and providers to the event bus.
  • Collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including technical teams, business leaders, and compliance experts.
  • Utilise expertise in Kafka to design, implement, and optimise event streaming solutions.

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience delivering in complex enterprise environments, ensuring alignment with compliance and service fundamentals.
  • Proven track record of leading technology initiatives involving Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

    SC Cleared Senior Technical Architect

    Position: Senior Technical Architect
    Contract Duration: 6 months
    Location: Milton Keynes (3 days in the office, 2 days wfh)
    Rate: £640 pd outside IR35
    Clearance: Must have SC

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect with expertise in networking and infrastructure technologies to deliver scalable, secure solutions within complex environments. The role involves designing architectures, leading automation initiatives, and supporting secure deployments in Public Sector environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement technical architectures using technologies like VMware NSX-T, Cisco ACI/Nexus, Palo Alto NGFW, Azure, AWS, and Hybrid Cloud.
    • Automate network provisioning and enhance workflows using DevSecOps and CI/CD processes.
    • Produce high- and low-level technical designs, adhering to frameworks like TOGAF.
    • Support secure deployments aligned with NCSC, GDS, Cyber Essentials, and NIST standards.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver technical requirements.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN).
    • Experience with server/OS and network technologies, including SASE and virtualisation platforms (VMware VCD, VSAN, NSX).
    • Strong background in public cloud migrations (Azure, AWS, M365).
    • Proven ability to work in secure environments and manage security products.
    • Familiarity with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
    • Certifications such as TOGAF, MCSE, VCP, CCNP (desirable).
