As a DevOps Engineer you will lead, monitor, and continuously improve the deployment processes, including establishing a robust CI/CD model. DevOps Engineer Essential Technical Skills:

Skilled Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) to understand low level designs, create and implement build scripts, conduct testing and validation for a on-premises VMware infrastructure. The following technology will be used to automate infrastructure as code – Terraform, Ansible and PowerShell DSC.
Collaboration and guide architects and clients to outline best practise to deliver Windows and Red Hat Linux virtual machines as code. Potential for scope to include other virtual infrastructure and network devices.

Skills Required:
– Proficient in writing, deploying and troubleshooting Terraform Configuration files,
– Proficient in writing, deploying and troubleshooting Ansible Playbooks/YAML files,

Site Reliability Engineer (x2)

We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading FinTech business as a Site Reliability Engineer. There are currently two available roles. The two Site Reliability Engineers will work closely and collaboratively with a variety of teams to ensure the foundations of the platform, ensuring that it is scalable and robust. The right candidates will have strong experience with AWS and MongoDB, deploying infrastructure as code (ideally Terraform) and proficient with a variety of CI/CD tools.

Experience

Proficient with AWS – Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and scaling AWS solutions with networking architectures from scratch.

Skilled in managing and optimising databases at scale. (MongoDB)

Build robust observability platforms, mitigates alert fatigue, and understands SLO/SLA concepts.

Proficient with Terraform with ability to Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.

Proven experience responding to and resolving incidents, focusing on prevention.
