At Sanderson Government and Defence, we understand the unique challenges faced by professionals in the government and defence sectors. Our Transformative Career Coaching services are designed to empower individuals and teams to achieve their highest potential, ensuring that they are equipped to navigate career transitions with confidence and meet the demands of their roles, whilst feeling fulfilled by the work they do, with clarity and direction towards a future they are excited about.

 

What is Transformative Coaching?

Transformative coaching is a powerful, collaborative process that helps individuals unlock their potential and achieve profound personal and professional growth. Through guided conversations and strategic planning, we provide the support and insights needed to navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and create lasting change.

Who is it for?

Our transformative coaching services are currently targeted at supporting three key groups:

Military Leaver Pic

Military Leavers

We work with a large number of military leavers and understand the challenges they face when transitioning to the civilian world. Whether you’re considering a move, have already handed in your notice, are in the process of transitioning out, or are in your first civilian role but unsure if it’s right for you, we can help you gain clarity on your goals, values, strengths, and passions, and create a path to the future you aspire to. We work closely with the Forces Employment Charity, who refer military leavers to us for additional support. Many of our clients also come to us via word of mouth and referrals from our recruitment team. All of our work in this area is currently free of charge, as a way to give back to the armed forces community and contribute to our Gold ERS status.

We are proud partners of Women Empowering Defence (WED) and are delighted to offer coaching services to their members. In 2024 we delivered an introduction to Transformative Coaching and how it can support people with career transitions into leadership roles which was very well received. We have some exciting plans with WED for 2025, so watch this space for updates…

While much of our coaching support is directed outside the business, we also identified an opportunity to support and motivate our own team by providing them with free career coaching internally.
